REVILO (aka Row.D Beats) USA BEATS Mix up PART 2 by rowdbeats
Check my interview/freestyle with him here:
Thanks to the BBC Introducing stage at Glasto this year a few grime artists gained some invaluable promotion! Altho this is BBC introducing, these guys are considered beyond 'up and coming' within their scene so don't get it twisted, a lot of hard work and persistence got P Money, Lady Leshurr and Ms Darks (chek my interview with her here) to where they are!
P Money - Left the room
Ms Darks - Breaking The Rules
Lady Leshurr
Great hedonistic track here from Olos, an artist I've been rating since him and the crew dropped bars on my urbanfmtv.com show a while back. Big track, big beat, and big video!! Definitly an artist that deserves some shine (no pun intended) !
Take a listen. Especially if you like Outkast. This is another one from a US rapper that I'd not heard of but I listen to almost everything I get sent. Check for this single on Phil Ade's upcoming project The Letterman hosted by ex AMG member Don Cannon.
I met up with C Gritz and Jammer recently who dropped some fire bars and toasted to the signing of ONE OF his latest hits 'In the VIP'.
The best tune I've heard so far from J. Cole who is one of the few new US MCs that's really impressing me right now... Listen and learn, this is how to make intelligent street hip hop!! Expect big things from this guy, with his signing to Jay-Z's Roc Nation Cole's gonna be pushed HARD, and rightly so! I expect levels somewhere near Kanye 's buzz when the album drops.
Make sure you have a listen to this new mix from DJ Snuff the Ablist for The Hoochinoo Camden Crawl compilation. It features some classics from the UK hip hop scene over the last 5 years or so.
Definitely giving this one ratings. Also check Jack Jones' video with Tuggawar and Gappy Ranks called 'No Beef', its heavy! Make sure you stay locked to DJGone.TV.
Check this video which is themed on the online music outlets these guys regularly check to stay in the know. Listen out for the Blatantly Blunt shoutout! Get 25% off the Delusionists album by entering the promo code DIGIFAM over at http://music.delusionists.co.uk!

Check this article I found about Louisana rapper Lil Boosie who was one of the biggest potentials before he went to the big house a little while back. This is the latest on him, and I can't see him coming out anytime soon.. Damn.
Lil Boosie was indicted on charge of 1st degree murder by a East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury early evening Thursday for the October 2009 shooting murder of Terry Boyd.
According to the district attorney, Lil Boosie may receive the death penalty according to a district attorney. The rap star is already incarcerated at Dixon Correctional Institute.
Prosecutors also indicted Lil Boosie of conspiring with a girlfriend, another inmate and a former correctional officer of smuggling in synthetic marijuana, marijuana pills and codeine into the prison. Six other men have also been indicted for their involvement in the murder of Boyd.
Below is a summary of all the charge that Boosie faces and prosecutors believe he may have been involved in at least five other slayings:
• 1st Degree Murder of Terry Boyd, 35, shot to death inside his residence at 16837 Vermillion Drive on 10/21/09. The shots were fired from outside home through a window.
• 3 counts PWITD Narcotics (Schedule II-Codeine, Schedule I-Ecstacy and Schedule I-Marijuana)
• 3 counts Conspiracy to commit PWITD Narcotics
• 2 counts Conspiracy to Introduce Contraband into a Penal Institution

LIL JON - MACHUKA (feat. Mulher Filé & Mr Catra) prod by Kassiano from NOSSA on Vimeo.
People that have been listening to UK hip hop or grime for under 5 years should definitely take a look at this, a short UK hip hop and grime documentary shot over a period of three weeks in june and july of 2005 featuring Skinnyman, Crazy Titch, J2K, Roll Deep, Jammer aka Murkle Man, Ears, Poisonous Poets, Foreign Beggars, Focused Few, Donae'o, Braintax, Rodney P, Jon E Cash & Black Ops, Genesis & Dubble Edge, Mos Blood, and DJ Switch.
Dj Mike Caliberz and Carona Brone brings a song that should take you back to the early 90's. Up tempo beat with a lyricist thatbrings it hard. Directed by J2
Check behind the scenes at the recent video shoot for James Corden and & Dizzee's World Cup single "Shout"... out now and available to purchase via I-Tunes.
I met up with UK Hip hop artist Chima Anya recently and found out about his new album, his view on the scene, the meaning of a #1 single in 2010 and loads more!!
Lowkeys tactics to get fame isnt just by attending rallies of resistance but also by making threats to 19 year old pop star Chipmunk who's a sitting duck to all types of criticism... maybe this will increase Lowkey's fanbase to even more people fed up with the system. VIVA LA REVOLUTION (I think)... I have respect and hate for both these artists by the way. I don't like the way Chipmunk's sold out, considering his previous material was SO on point (listen to 'League of my own' for proof) and I respect Lowkey's lyrical ability but his content is a bit samey and reeks of Immortal Technique syndrome...
Tinchy Stryder and his management have signed a deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation company.
The Number 1 rapper reportedly met Jigga in Manchester just yesterday to ink the big money deal.
Tinchy and his managers will apparently now run ‘Takeover Roc Nation’ in Europe, signing new artists and working with Sony Music and Live Nation.
Stryder himself will still be signed to Island/ Universal. The star hinted at the news yesterday writing on Twitter: “Just finalised a deal with powerful men. Artists holla at me!”
He also reportedly met with Beyonce and Drake as Jay-Z played the Manchester MEN venue.

Definitely a strong look for both parties here, I've always been one to deny Tinchy's being a sell out, just listen to his latest mixtape Before the Storm, which sees him staying true to his roots... Jigga man's not doing badly for himself either...
In anticipation of the highly overdue 3rd album from the LEGEND that is Lil Jon, I decided to share this mixtape I found. I wouldn't recomend playing this if you've just woken up, or are about to go to sleep!
Rounded UK rapper English drops ANOTHER freebie for you guys so make sure you get this! Also check his website EnglishLeftTurn.com and also check Local Hero Vol. 2!
New heat from 3 of the sickest patois grime artists Shizzle, Badness and Killa P about the recent madness in Tivoli Gardens, Kingston, Jamaica of the police trying to track down Christopher 'Dudus' Coke...
Hot video from Gappy Ranks, a UK artist considered among the elite in UK Dancehall.. Video shot in Harleseden, North West London...
This vid may be a month old but it's certainly overdue for a classic quality southern rap tune. The video itself is hot but the track's predominantly based on lyrics over hype. At the same time the video's strong but the chorus lets it down a little.
B.O.B could well be the MVP of the 2010 hip hop scene. First heard him on the uplifting I'll Be In The Sky which has strong air of a Stevie Wonder meets Andre 3000 combo despite him claiming not to have been influenced by the fellow Atlanta rapper!
