Video: The Boy Illinois - Speaking Through Experience

Imagine combining the son of a Haitian immigrant from Illinois with TI rapping over a classic Fugees track... Well that's what you got here. Cool video from a rapper unbeknown to me!

Here's a trailer for his mixtape Inhale Part 3: After School Program. It contains original production from The Baron Boys, who have worked with artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Drake and Young Chris, Bow Wow, BET and more.

Audio: Little Dee feat Kano - IMA LONDONER

Radio rip of this new one from two very different but strong artists from the grime scene.

Video: Tabanacle 'I TRY' ft Remus & G-Man

South West rapper Tabanacle has been assaulting the scene with his gritty slice of LDN hip hop, and recently appeared on BBC 1Xtra's Fire in The Booth. This single is released under Charlie Sloth's label 'Grimey Limey' and features Remus (the super talented up and comer who's dad is Taskforce legend Farma G), and G-Man. Tabba is reminiscent of Skinnyman in this tune I reckon, which is never a bad thing! Big video production from Nik Squared at B Somebody TV.

Audio: Baby Blue - Paper Haters Part 2 feat. J2K, Ghetts and Scrufizzer

Serious all star line up here as Baby Blue, who recently made a big comeback brings us the second part of Paper Haters''. Three of some of the best grime artists of moment drop fire over the strong production from Davinche, one of the greatest grime producers ever who's been quiet recently in grime...

DIRTY remix of the TI and Swizz Beatz banger from his previous album. Really feeling this one! MRC Riddims is the production/DJ team of Oktopus (dalek) and Merc out of NYC and Berlin.

RIP Nate Dogg

Apologies for the delayed post but whilst travelling in SE Asia, last night I found out about the sad passing of West Coast hip hop crooner Nate Dogg, who died on March 15, in Long Beach, California from complications related to previous strokes he had suffered.

With 4 Grammy nominations, Nate worked with the creme de la creme in the hip hop game; most notably 2Pac, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg as a member of Suge Knight's Death Row Records, during the West's golden era of the 1990s. He also was instrumental in the short lived spell of G Funk, alongside Warren G.

Not just regarded as the essential go to guy for a hook, Nate Hale also released a number of solo albums, with 'Music & Me' staying on heavy rotation for me in the early 2000s! Another legend gone, but he paved the way for the likes of Akon and T-Pain in providing the ultimate hip hop chorus. With classics like Oh No with Pharoahe Monche and Mos Def, The Next Episode with Dre and Snoop, 21 Questions with 50 cent and countless more his music will be sure to live on!

Mix: Total - "I.S.Y.M.A.L.G.T.S.S.L.C.P.S.P" Mix

Mostly new grime in the mix here from Total. Predominantly instrumentals with some R&G thrown in towards the end. In case you're confused by the ridiculously long title, it stands for (deep breath) "I saw your mum at Ladbroke Grove station smelling like cat piss selling playstation". 'Selling playstation?' Can someone explain that to me please...?

ATL veteran Killer Mike is a name you may not be familiar with but has been grindin for years and comes with some dope lyrical southern fried hip hop. He's signed with TI's Grand Hustle label and dropped this recently featuring Tip Harris himself. Chea!!!!

Video: CHRONIK - RING

A strong contender for the gulliest man alive, Chronik drops this heavy new video for his tune which is released thru DJ Magic's No hats no hoods label. Just so you know, this song isn't about proposing to a girl.

Video: Lil Nasty - Nasty By Nature

This track is a few years old but still hits hard with the expectedly sick DVA production sampling Badness. Out now thanks to the good folks at No Hats No Hoods Records.

Video: Video: Westwood - Nicki Minaj reveals beats for Lil Wayne's Carter 4

The amount of industry politics behind this interview on both halves is nuts. Look out for more sections of it coming soon. Shoutout to Westwood still doing his thing at a ripe old age of Fifty-something! Him and young money cash money seem to have a good working relationship!
