Lowkey - We don't want them

Look out for this new track from the UK's answer to Immortal Technique (sorry about the bad comparison but they have similar left wing/socialist/viva el revolution content) and former Poisonous Poet, Lowkey. This tracks rinseing those weirdos over at the BNP so is a must post!

"One of my favourite rappers right now" - DJ Semtex (BBC 1Xtra + Dizzee Rascal's DJ)
One of the best lyricists in the Western Hemisphere - Benjamin Zephaniah
"Amazing...so good I was nearly crying" - Ms Dynamite
One of the most intelligent and sickest MCs - DJ MK (Kiss FM + Roots Manuva's DJ)
Lowkey's dope! Definitely representing for the UK - Ghostface Killah (Wu-Tang Clan)

We Don't Want Them is the brand new single by Hip Hop artist Lowkey, produced by The Last Skeptik. The track is being released in association with Love Music Hate Racism as a response to the fascist British National Party and their recent growth in the face of the recession with Lowkey donating all profits from the single to LMHR.

Lowkey is a Poet, Playwright, Political Activist and award winning Hip Hop Artist who has received airplay on numerous major radio stations including BBC Radio 1, Capital FM, Kiss FM, Choice FM and BBC 1Xtra and this year alone has toured internationally performing to crowds everywhere from Glastonbury and Trafalgar Square to Palestine, Israel, New York and Europe. Born 1986 at St. Georges Hospital in Tooting to a British father from Dover and an Arab mother who was born in Baghdad. Lowkey is a much needed bridge between many different worlds. Lowkey's career has gone from strength to strength building up a huge cult following and independently releasing a string of critically acclaimed albums and singles. Recently Lowkey formed the superband Mongrel with members of the Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles and Reverend and the Makers, and their debut album was released free in The Independent earlier this year.

DJ and Producer The Last Skeptik has worked with, and remixed the likes of Sway, Daniel Merriweather, Marina and The Diamonds, Jehst and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly. Having recieved critical acclaim from the likes of Huw Stephens, RWD, Q, Hip Hop Connection and Rob Da Bank - Skeptik is a young producer to keep an eye on in the coming months.
