New Video: Young Jeezy - Put On ft Kanye West

This tune was too much when it was leaked a couple of months ago and looks like it's to be the lead single of Jeezy's appropriately named album 'The Recession'. Top southern producer Drumma Boy serves up a treat on the beat with trance-esque style synths and a bass lower than your grandmamma's titties. The video itself is more than just a showcase for the rappers and shows life in a poor suburb where some poor dude is selling $1 hair cuts.. if only they had that in London (where you'll pay about 20 times that).

Method Man's failed stage dive at the Clan's London concert

Looks like the Wu have officially 'fallen off'.
This happened on the final day of their 2 day gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire show in London. I went to see the Wu first time they came here in July 2004 which was incredible, and with the latest poor showing from 8 Diagrams, I'm glad I wasn't there.. This video is pretty representative of the groups future.

Farnsworth Bentley ft. Kanye West and Andre 3000 - Everybody WTF?!

Before writing this, I didn't know how Diddy's ex umbrella holder managed to get Kanye & Dre 3K on this but it's kinda dope either way! Mainly due to the fact that the top 3 rappers/producers of the last 3 years must have balls of steel to be prancing around behind a relative fly-by-night artist doing the backing vocals. It should be noted that 'Farnsworth Bentley' or Derek Watkins as he's known by the government is a graduate with a degree in Biology and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. He is an old friend of Andre 3000 and is signed to G.O.O.D Music, Kanye's label.

Respect is due to 'Ye and Andre tho, the way they manage to pull this off so effortlessly. It was a shame Kanye didn't drop some bars but Andre delivered as per usual. We'll see how long it takes for this to be in the top 10 with performances on David Letterman and the like. Oh, and before you watch it, think about the comment left below the video this was grabbed from:
"Does Farnsworth have incriminating photos of Kanye and Andre?? Why would they agree to this?"

Free new mixtape: 'Chipmunk: Guess Who?'

Straight from the belly of the beast; fellow North London repper and Alwayz Recorder; Chipmunk follows on from his breakthrough mixtape League of my Own with this new free release; entitled Guess Who. Click the image to download it free and legally.

Also, peep his new video for the hot new single Mohammed Ali. Based on Chips' garms selection I can't help but think Adidas had some sort of financial input to this vid, though I wouldnt be too surprised if it was just a case brand loyalty. Whatever, I'll settle for somewhere in between.
